Chain declaration
If you read one page in this manual, read this one. A missing chain declaration is the most common reason messages send successfully and never arrive.
What the chain is
When you register on a DLT portal you also declare which telemarketers may carry your traffic. That declaration is called the chain, and the operator checks it against the route a message actually took.
The important word is route. The chain is a declaration of who may carry your traffic, not a general permission. If your messages pass through a telemarketer you did not declare, the check fails at the operator.
What you have to add
One telemarketer ID: ours. The Chain page in your panel shows it.
Copy it from the panel
Copy the ID from the Chain page rather than from an email or a support chat, so that if it ever changes you are working from the current value.
How to declare it
The screens differ between DLT portals, but the shape is the same everywhere.
Open the Chain page in your panel
It shows the telemarketer ID to add, with a copy button.
Sign in to the DLT portal where you registered your entity
Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL, whichever holds your Principal Entity ID.
Find the telemarketer or chain section
It is usually called "Telemarketer", "Chain Management", "TM Binding" or similar, under your entity.
Add the ID to this entity's chain
Paste it exactly as the panel shows it. A digit out of place is a chain that does not match the route your messages take.
Save, then tell us
Come back to the panel and mark the entity as chain submitted. That moves it into our review queue.
We verify it
We check the declaration is present before letting you send, so that a mistake costs you a message here rather than a campaign at the operator.
Until it is verified, sending is blocked
The panel refuses to send while an entity's chain is unverified, and returns a message saying so.
That is deliberate. The alternative is accepting your messages, charging for them, and having every one dropped at the operator hours later with a generic error. Refusing up front costs you one clear message instead of a silent campaign failure and an invoice.
Telling a chain problem from the others
Chain failures have a distinctive shape, because the message is accepted everywhere until the very last step.
If you use more than one provider
Each provider has its own route, so each needs its own chain entry. Adding our telemarketer ID does not remove anyone else's, and having several declared telemarketers is normal and expected.
If you are moving to Splashify from another provider, add our ID before you switch traffic over. The declaration is additive and safe to make while you are still sending elsewhere.
